13.17. A lay brake

1 – the lever of a lay brake;
2 – an adjusting nut;

3 – a cable of a lay brake.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the back console.
	2. Turn away an adjusting nut and remove a cable of a lay brake.
3. Remove the switch of a lay brake.
4. Remove knot of the lever of a lay brake.
5. Remove a wheel.
6. Remove a brake drum.
7. Remove brake колодки.
	8. Disconnect a cable of a lay brake from the lever on brake колодке.
	9. Remove a clip, крепящий a cover of a cable of a lay brake to a brake board.
10. Remove a pillow of back sitting.
	11. Ослабьте clips of fastening of a cable of a lay brake also remove it from the car.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check up action of the switch of a lay brake.

2. Check up a ratchet of the lever of a lay brake on absence of deterioration.

3. Check up a cable of a lay brake on absence of deterioration or damages.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. Check up marks presence on the left and right cables of a lay brake and establish them on the places.
	2. Move the lever of a lay brake on brake колодке completely back and establish springs.
	3. Establish condensing rings in a direction shown in drawing.
4. Grease with the recommended greasing a ratchet and the doggie of a ratchet of the lever of a lay brake. The recommended lubricant: SAE J310, NLGI №2
	5. After jack installation adjust a course of the lever of a lay brake.
