16.4. Check of an electric chain of gymnastics
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Include ignition.
2. After ignition inclusion at the working engine the control lamp of gymnastics of the storage battery should burn.
3. Disconnect a socket from the resistor of preliminary excitation of the generator.
Connect an ohmmeter to contacts 1 and 3 sockets from components. Positive щуп (+) an ohmmeter connect to contact 3, and negative щуп (–) – to contact 1.
The prevention

If an ohmmeter to connect incorrectly, it will not show value of resistance

Result

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. If there is a conductivity shown by an ohmmeter, means, the electric chain is perfectly in order. If conductivity is absent, means, the electric chain is faulty.
2. If conductivity is absent only on a step 3, check up and restore an electric chain of a control lamp. If conductivity is absent only on a step 2, check up the resistor of preliminary excitation of the generator.
The prevention

If conductivity is absent only on one of steps 2 and 3, means, the system works normally, however, for more reliable work of system it is necessary to inspect an electric chain.
