1.57. A stereosystemAs the automobile stereosystem worksSignals in ranges АМ and FМ are transferred through the repeaters located round a city. The signals arriving from them, are accepted by the car aerial. When to the radio receiver aerial the strong radio signal arrives, the modern audiosystem provides high-quality reproduction. However in some cases an arriving signal, not strong and not the accurate. It can be caused in distance from radio station, affinity to other radio stations or presence of structures, bridges or other big objects in your district. Usually reception of signals in range АМ is better, than signals in range FМ. It occurs because radio-waves in range АМ are transferred on low frequencies of an announcement. Long, low-frequency radio-waves can extend in atmosphere as on a straight line, and to bend around curvature of a terrestrial surface. Moreover, they can bend around various objects and can provide the best radio covering. Thereof, accurate reception of signals in range АМ can be carried out on the big distances better, than reception of signals in range FМ.
Radio-waves in range FМ are transferred on high frequencies of an announcement and cannot bend around a terrestrial surface. Thereof, radio-waves in range FМ basically start to weaken on small distance from transferring station. Radio-waves in range FМ are more strongly subject to influence of buildings, mountains or other subjects. It can lead to reproduction deterioration, and you can accept it for malfunction of a radio receiver. Following conditions are normal and do not specify in malfunction of a radio receiver:
– Attenuation – with increase in distance of the car from the transferring aerial of radio station capacity of a radio signal falls, and the sound starts to fade. In that case it is recommended to choose other station with stronger signal;
– Constant buzzing noise – a weak radio signal in range FМ or large obstacles between a radio transmitter and the reception aerial of the car lead to occurrence of a hindrance in the form of constant buzzing noise. This effect can be reduced having lowered level of adjustment of a timbre in the field of the top sound frequencies;
– интерференционный noise – hit on the aerial of the car of the radio signals received from various directions, can lead to occurrence of constant buzzing noise. It can be caused hit on the aerial of the car of a direct signal of radio station and the reflected signal of one station of an announcement or two signals from stations broadcasting on close frequencies. In this case be switched to other station while these conditions will not disappear. |
