15.5. Check of elements of the central air established on the car
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check up condenser plates on absence of a contamination and damage. If plates are hammered, clear their stream of water under pressure.
The prevention

Be careful not to damage a plate.
2. Be convinced, that the belt of a drive of the compressor of the conditioner is established correctly.
3. Check up a tension of a belt of a drive of the compressor of the conditioner. If the belt slips on pulleys, productivity of a central air of air and belt service life will decrease.
To avoid it, it is necessary to observe the following procedure of service of a belt:

– Any belt which worked not less than 30 mines, is considered the used belt;
– Check a belt tension in the ordered intervals of service.

Check up a belt tension, having pressed on it by effort 98 Н in a place located on identical removal from pulleys, and measure a belt deflection.

Deflection of a belt of a drive of the compressor of the conditioner at tension check:
After belt work: 8 mm
The used belt: 6–7 mm
New belt: 5–5,5 mm
4. Start the engine.
5. Include air central air, having pressed on switch A/C. Check up work of a central air of air in all positions of the switch of operating modes of the fan.
6. Check up work electromagnetic муфты.
7. Check up frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine idling. At inclusion electromagnetic муфты frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine should increase.
8. Check up work of the fan of the condenser.
9. If cooling is absent or it is not enough of it, check up air central air on leaks.
